Mike, Kuro, Iba-chan, Q, Sato, and Mamoru are the children of shopkeepers in the Gingacho Shopping District. When they were children, they were the invincible Stellar Six. Now that they’re in middle school, though, things are a little. . . awkward. Mike wants nothing more than to get the Stellar Six together again, but her friends always seem to have their own things to do. And when a Gingacho store is vandalized, can the Stellar Six find a way to help out?
The Stellar Six of Gingacho is a dramedy that is perfect to read when you’re feeling down. All of the characters– especially Mike and Kuro– are well-developed and funny. Fujimoto’s art is well drawn and conveys emotion well. Best of all, Volume 2 is coming out in a few days! I can’t wait to read it! What else is there to say? Go on, read it!
