Rainsong on the roof
New-bloom rain lilies brighten
Cloudy no-sun days
~ ~ ~
We planted rain lilies, a gift from a neighbor, a few years ago. Every time it rains, they burst into life and cheerfully bloom for a few days. We’ve been having frequent rains this month, which means lots of rain lilies!
What sorts of flowers are in your garden?

Lilies are my favorite flowers, I couldn’t help picture a beautiful field full of swaying lilies. Very beautiful! 🙂

Thank you! I love lilies too. And they are hard to kill, which is a plus. XD

I love the imagery in your poem, especially the word “rainsong!” 🙂 Unfortunately, most of my garden is dead right now… but there should be roses once the weather gets warmer.

Thank you, Alex! 🙂 Roses are a lovely way to welcome spring! What kind / color are they?

I don’t know much about them (my mom’s the gardener in the family, haha) but they’re orangey-red and pink! They definitely brighten up our backyard 🙂

Beautiful Poem Dear!! ❤
Last year we had strawberries, rasberries and a cherry on our balcony…
None had fruits and the cherry died in the end xD
But all the green plants are still strong and healthy… as long as I don’t touch them lol

Thank you, Rachel! ❤
Ooh, fruits have lovely flowers too. Raspberry flowers are so little and cute~
Maybe you’ll get some yummy fruit this year!
A few years ago I tried to grow strawberries. They had a few little berries. . . but the birds ate them all. XD
